Bricks & Smiles: the Zac Minty Legacy Project has been established in honour of Zac - who sadly passed away in 2022 after an almost 3 year battle with Rhabdomyosarcoma.

LEGO was so important to Zac through his treatment as a pastime, a rehab tool, a challenge, and an escape. He wanted to support other kids going through cancer treatment by giving them the chance to pick out their dream LEGO sets. He also wanted to help find a cure for cancer.

Zac’s family have set up Bricks & Smiles as a sub-fund of the Sydney Community Foundation (a registered Charity with tax deductible status).

Funds raised go to:

• Providing kids undergoing oncology treatment a $400 grant to pick out their dream LEGO set(s); and

• Australian-based research (including clinical trials) into a cure for Sarcomas particularly those affecting children.
