The Zac Minty Room
During our cancer journey with Zac we had to commute between Canberra and Westmead hospital. Sometimes just a few days a week, sometimes months. We were lucky enough to have the support of Ronald McDonald House (Greater Western Sydney), where we spent a lot of time (almost 1 full year, over 3 years). It truly was a home away from home!
Recently we sponsored a Meal from the Heart in Zacs honour, and plan to do this annually. This years meal was cooked and served by some of the RMHC staff we got to know (and who knew Zac).
The house have also placed a plaque outside a room.
Very excited to support RMHC as much as we can, many thanks to the staff and volunteers that helped with both the Meal and Plaque! You guys are awesome.
