Zac & Mawson Primary.
Zac loved attending Mawson Primary School, particularly playing soccer with his friends at lunch time. He loved having his brother Elliott and his cousins at the school.
After Zac passed away in May 2022, Mawson Primary School initiated an award at the Year 6 presentation day called the “Zac Minty Award for Resilience and Empathy” which is presented to the year 6 student each year that displays these qualities. The school also supported the P&C’s initative of a plaque in the senior garden, that his brothers and other children can see. What lovely ways to acknowledge that Zac was a proud year 6 Mawson Primary School student.
We are very grateful for Mawson Primary School’s support of Bricks & Smiles. In 2023 and 2024, the SRC organised a fundraising day, where kids get to wear their favourite sporting team jersey and can bring a gold coin in for Bricks & Smiles. This has raised a combined total of over $1500. Thank you Mawson Primary for your ongoin support.
